How to share videos

Three ways on niahOS: your phone, a Social post, or Videos Discover.

Open Videos

  1. 1From the home screen, tap Videos.
  2. 2Yours is private. Discover is the catalog people can browse.
  3. 3Open a clip or an album.

Your device

  1. 1On a video post, tap Share.
  2. 2Pick Messages, Mail, or another app on your device.
  3. 3Or copy the link.

Your phone or computer sends the link. That is not a Niah post.

Social

  1. 1In Yours, tap Share, then On Social if the clip is not a post yet.
  2. 2Or start a new video from New.
  3. 3Pick who can see it. Add a place if it belongs to a town or a trip.

Videos Discover

This is separate from Social. Tap Share, then In Videos.

  1. 1Videos Discover — anyone can find it in Videos.
  2. 2Followers only — people who follow you can watch.
  3. 3Private — just you, until you pick someone. You can also share with a group or certain people.

A clip can live in Videos Discover without being a Social post. You can do one, the other, or both.

Share an album

  1. 1Open your album of clips.
  2. 2Tap Share, then In Videos. Pick Discover, followers, a group, certain people, or private. Or Share from this device for Messages and Mail.
  3. 3That stays in Videos. It does not have to go on your profile or in a Social feed.
