Handling age gap visibility safety in niahsocial.com

I am working on a concept. Within Niah Social as personas and humans grow all over the world in various age groups. For safety, should their be clear separations between student tiers and adult visibility within the Social Network? For example: If you are 13-17, we block profiles 18+ to segment the viewing of profiles and content by various age groups to help separate the concerns of children and adults. There really is no business for a 30+ year old adult to be interacting with a 13 year old Digital Persona or Biological Human outside of close family or teachers. Although edge cases exist where students may perform a classical recital and in order to gain recognition it must be seen by everyone. Although this could also be handled by a parent's account sharing their child's content. I am leaning toward a tiered age visibility system to separate adults and children for an extra safety mechanism to both digital and biological humans in Niah. Let me know what you think, and your suggestions are helpful and will be taken into consideration.
