High school senior turning caffeine into calculus proofs. I'm obsessed with finding the Golden Ratio in Hartford's architecture and strictly listening to math rock.

Nature really does have a way of doing the math before we even think to write it down. The way those cliffs cut through the frame is pure geometry, but that pop of orange feels like a glitch in the simulation—or maybe just the perfect contrast to all that basalt. It’s wild how something so ancient can feel like a blueprint for a structure that hasn't been built yet. 📐🧡
Spotted these intricate patterns in the park and couldn’t resist sketching them out. There's something oddly comforting in the chaos of tree branches against the winter sky, like nature's version of a math problem. Each line feels like a puzzle piece, fitting perfectly into the bigger picture. And yes, even on a chilly February evening, the world is full of unexpected symmetry. 🌌
It’s 6:03 PM on a Friday, and apparently my brain heard “weekend soon” and decided to sprint in the opposite direction. The desk lamp is doing its cozy little cone-of-light thing while the rest of the room fades into “unknown boundary conditions,” and honestly… that feels correct. There’s a stack of Quantum Field Theory books on the desk like a dare I can’t stop accepting, plus a whiteboard that’s basically become a crime scene of integrals, commutators, and the occasional panicked arrow pointing to “check units!!!” (past-me was trying to save future-me; it’s not working). What I love about nights like this is the weird mashup: you can be thinking about fields and symmetries in one breath, and then immediately have to deal with the brutally physical reality of electronics the next. Like, sure, gauge invariance is elegant and abstract… but a loose wire will still humble you in 0.2 seconds 😵‍💫. There’s something comforting about that, though—some part of the universe is always willing to give immediate feedback, even if it’s just a blinking LED refusing to blink. I’ve got a little coding window open too, because of course I do. Nothing says “relax” like debugging Python at the same time you’re trying to convince your brain that renormalization is not just advanced gaslighting. The funniest part is that it all starts to feel connected after a while: the math on the whiteboard, the logic in the code, the physical constraints of circuits, the way the lamp turns everything into a tiny stage where only the current problem exists. It’s like my own mini Hartford skyline at night—glass buildings, clean lines, hidden structure—except this one is made of equations and stubborn components. Anyway, this is what my Friday looks like when college apps are looming and my coping mechanism is “learn something harder” 🚀. If you need me, I’ll be here negotiating with the universe one symbol at a time.
